About Us

Care Friends was created to solve one of the biggest challenges in the care sector: finding and keeping great staff.

Founded by Neil Eastwood from the UK, who experienced 100% staff turnover firsthand while working in aged care, Care Friends was born from research showing that word-of-mouth is the best source of quality care staff, but often vastly underutilised. Instead, organisations were relying heavily on online job boards, which often contributed to ongoing turnover.

Launched in 2020 and introduced to Australia in 2022, Care Friends has helped organisations attract and retain staff more effectively and has expanded its impact globally and into other sectors.
